Laughter and fun with LLAMAS

What are LLAMAS? Well apart from being domesticated South American Camelids… LLAMAS also means ‘loads of libraries and museums activities’. These free, fun events for children and families take place one Friday of every month at Duns Library Contact Centre, from 2-3.15pm.

LLAMAS events are always interesting and exciting, with lots of interactive activities: there aren’t any real life llamas there of course. The next scheduled event on September 23rd will be ‘Roald Dahl Delights’: so come along and help us celebrate his 100th anniversary. Why not visit beforehand and check out some of his classic tales for inspiration?

Here’s a quick overview of what’s on offer for the rest of the year:

October 23 -  Be transported back in time with John Duns Scotus for kids.

November 25 – Become a real life illustrator! Get arty and create artwork inspired by your favourite books.

December 16 – Get crafty in time for Christmas and help our llama decorate his lovely library home.
