Commonwealth Passport 2018

Build your skill in a different world of sport!

2018 sees the return of our action-packed Commonwealth Passport programme!

What is the Commonwealth Passport?

This programme offers your child the opportunity to earn points for participating in as many Commonwealth/Para-sports as possible. When the programme finishes, we'll award them with a medal based on their points total, (Gold, Silver or Bronze)!

How do we get our passport?

If your child attends a primary school within the Scottish Borders region they have already been issued with a Commonwealth Passport and been informed about the opportunity to be rewarded for taking part in Commonwealth sports in the lead up to the 2018 Gold Coast Games.

What if I still need a passport?

If you need a new passport or have not received one, please feel free to download one from the downloads panel (selecting the appropriate age grouping). There are two versions of the passport, one for P1-3 pupils and one for P4-7 pupils.

When does the programme run?

The Passport runs from the 15th January 2018 through until Sunday 15th April 2018. Pupils will then have until Friday 20th April to hand their Passport into their school office.

We are sure that there will be lots of questions parents will wish to ask as the Commonwealth Passport progresses, so we have answered some likely questions in the ParentInformation Sheet (available in the downloads panel).

What opportunities will Live Borders Active Schools Team offer that earn points?

Throughout the school year in 2018, we'll be holding Activ8 sessions. These fun-packed sessions offer a bumper 3 sports per block! What better way to fill your passport with points?
