Additional Support Needs Family Summer Camp

Borders Additional Needs Group and Live Borders Sports Development Team are excited to announce our Additional Support Needs Family Summer Camp for 2022.

The Pay what you can sporting and creative arts camp will take place at Tweedbank Sports Complex and include workshop activities with an environmental theme. We will be exploring creative ideas around the Tweed Rivers wildlife and ecosystems, expressing stories through drama, dance and arts.

Activities include Disability Cycling, Boccia, Tennis, Hockey, Creative Arts and Craft workshops, Sensory Space, Music and so much more…

There will be a relaxed area for arts and crafts and lunch will be provided.

This dedicated ASN Summer Camp is open to ASN Families, siblings and care givers living in the Scottish Borders. It promises to provide you with a fun filled morning and an opportunity to meet other families living with an ASN. The dedicated staff will be on hand to support you with any additional requirements

Sessions will run on Thursday’s from 10:00 to 13:00 at Tweedbank Sports Complex.

Branching Out ASN Youth Summer Camp – including rock school ensemble, sports & creative arts

Branching Out Transitional Youth project is excited to announce our Additional Support Needs ASN Youth Camp for 2022.

This dedicated ASN Youth camp will take place at Tweedbank Sports Complex and include an opportunity to participate with Borders School of Music – Rock school ensemble, sporting opportunities with partners Live Borders Sports development and access to fun creative arts workshops. Activities include:

  • Rock School ensemble
  • Tennis
  • Football
  • Cycling
  • Archery
  • Creative Arts and Craft workshops
  • Sensory Space available

This dedicated ASN Youth Camp is open to Branching Out young people aged 15-24 years of age, and any ASN youths living in the Scottish Borders including our dedicated integrated youth group Rowlands. It promises to be fun-filled with lots of opportunities to meet peers, and have fun! come along and meet our amazing Youth team and parents can drop in to meet and greet our new ASN Family Liaison worker. Pop along and find out about our NEW Transitional Youth Programme and the opportunities we have for ASN youths.

Sessions will run on Thursday’s at 14:00 at Tweedbank Sports Complex.
