Overview

On Friday 30 August writer Mark Richards will be joining us at Harestanes.

Mark is the author of ‘Father, Son and the Pennie Way’ – which has more than 200 5-star reviews on Amazon – and in October this year he’ll be publishing his latest book, ‘Father, Son and the Kerry Way’, covering nine days and 125 miles in South West Ireland.

These are books about walks Mark did with his youngest son. Yes, they are books about walking, but they’re also books about life changing father/son relationship.

As well as talking about the books, Mark will also be talking about how he writes – about the ABC of writing: the art, the business and the craft.

In addition, he will discuss ‘indie publishing’ – publishing your books yourself on the Kindle – versus the traditional route of agent and publisher.

Mark’s talk will educate, entertain and inform you. He will read sections of his books and he will answer any questions you have.

The night includes two course set meal (lasagne, garlic bread & salad followed by cheesecake or fruit salad) veg option on the lasagne and a signed copy of the book.
