Clark in the Lens

Overview

A new exhibition for 2022 at teh Jim Clark Motorsport Museum, ‘Clark in the Lens’.

A collection of photography of Jim Clark’s career as seen through the camera of his friend and fellow Border farmer Eric Bryce. Eric Bryce was a fellow farmer from Gordon with interests in photography and motorsport and started out photographing motorcycle racing. After getting a number of photographs published he was asked to head along to Charterhall and take some shots of Jim Clark racing.

With Eric’s interest in motorsport and Jim’s in photography they quickly became friends with Eric charting Jim’s early career and much of his later racing in the UK.

He was present at the 1967 British Grand Prix and his last photograph of Jim was fittingly of him with the winning trophy.
