Annette moved to the Scottish Borders in 1999, having studied Fine Art at Leicester University in the early 1980s. Having worked first in Northumberland, Annette works presently at Artbeat Studios in Hawick.

Annette has recently returned to her own work and has produced a series of vibrant oil paintings centred on the emotions of a lone female figure which will feature in the exhibition.

Also, inspired by a painting trip to Italy in 2019, will be a series of watercolour paintings and collages which capture the intense colours, long shadows and ever-changing light of the both the Tuscan and the Border landscape. The Borders scenes being mostly around Annette’s home at Ruberslaw near Hawick.

Most works are for sale
