Get into Summer – Early Years Play Sessions

The Early Years Play Sessions, part of the Get into Summer campaign, are two-hour sessions for your little one to take part in as much as they like with their friends.

Sessions will be held for 0-3 years olds and 3-5 year olds and will include soft plays and inflatables.

The 0-3 age group will be an unstructured free play session where the adult and child can decide what they want to do from the sporting activity, soft play element, art and craft or even slow down and read a story.

The 3-5 age group is an independent session where the children are left for the two hours and they will have a chance to do all four elements of the session.

Supported by the Scottish Borders Council and Scottish Government funding, the national ‘Get into Summer’ campaign will help children, young people and families reconnect and reengage with their local communities and the environment and provide opportunities to socialise following a challenging period for everyone due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
