Holiday Activities

Welcome to our Summer Holiday Activity Programme – a Summer break full of activities for children right across the Scottish Borders.

The programme will help children, young people and families connect and engage with their local communities, socialise and get active in a fun and safe environment

The activities are for toddlers through to P7, with more opportunities for activity to be announced over the coming weeks.

Holiday Activity Camps

Our famous Summer Holiday Activity Camps are back again! Featuring a range of Live Borders’ and Community venues, sport and art collide for fun-filled days for kids aged P1 to P7. Camps will be held in Earlston, Eyemouth, Duns, Galashiels, Hawick, Jedburgh, Kelso, Peebles and Selkirk.

Live Borders Sports Camps (includes Hockey, Athletics and Football Camps)

Three days camps where participants will take part a range of sports including athletics, tennis, football, gymnastics and badminton. The camps are three hours for children aged P1 to P7.

Museums Summer Activity Programme

Museum sites across the Borders are running a range of family friendly workshops, offers and activities during the Summer holidays. There is no need to book any of these activities, just come along!

Summer Activities at our Leisure facilities

Make a splash this summer is in our Swimming Pools and other leisure facilities! Come and take part in a large range of activities, including Pool Inflatables, Floatfit sessions, Flume at TLC, Fun Sessions, Nerforce and so much more. For more information on timetables and what’s on offer, visit the webpage of your local facility and check back for more information and events over the summer.

Additional Support Needs Family Summer Camp

Borders Additional Needs Group and Live Borders Sports Development Team are excited to announce our Additional Support Needs Family Summer Camp for 2022.

The Pay what you can sporting and creative arts camp will take place at Tweedbank Sports Complex and include workshop activities with an environmental theme. We will be exploring creative ideas around the Tweed Rivers wildlife and ecosystems, expressing stories through drama, dance and arts.

Summer Fun at our Libraries

Come and join our holiday fun sessions this Summer with Lego, Duplo, Crafts and Science as part of the Get into Summer programme! It’s time to be adventurous and let imaginations run free whilst testing out new ideas and experimenting with new creations with our Lego and Duplo sessions.
