Easter Holiday Activity Camps

Early booking is advised for local charity Live Borders’ popular Easter Holiday Activity Camps in Galashiels, Kelso, Hawick, Peebles, and Eyemouth.

There’s something for everyone with a wide range of arts and sporting activities for children aged between 5 and 11 (School years P1-P7) including, swimming, gymnastics, badminton, tennis, basketball, rugby, street dance, and arts and crafts activities. Nature trails and board games also feature – and most days end with a movie.

The events are run by experienced members of the Live Borders’ team, with experts leading the different activities.

Graeme Murdoch, Active Communities Manager for the charitable trust, Live Borders, said:

“Our previous holiday camps were a huge success and we have used the feedback from parents and children to tailor our programme for the forthcoming holidays.

“Kids don’t need to be sporty or arty to take part: they just need to like to have fun. The Camp is all about ‘having a go’, no matter what your age or ability.

“Ultimately, the aim is to help our kids to be healthier, happier and stronger. We hope to see some familiar faces, but we also can’t wait to meet lots of new participants.”

Camps will run at Galashiels, Kelso and Hawick (Monday 6 April – Friday 10 April) as well as Eyemouth and Peebles (Monday 13 April – Friday 17 April)
