With a play park, café and stunning walks throughout the Teviot Valley, Harestanes is a must visit in the Scottish Borders.
Whether taking in the scenery on one of the walks, savouring a homebaked treat from the takeaway café, or running around the inclusive play park – Harestanes offers something for everyone. There are some of the most beautiful walking trails in the Scottish Borders: energetic hikes and leisurely jaunts.
A beacon for accessible play in the Scottish Borders, the play park features over 50 pieces of durable, innovative and exciting play features for children of all ages. There is a wide variety of play equipment for children with additional support needs including the Borders’ only wheelchair swings and an all-inclusive sensory boardwalk.
In addition there is an agility trail, a picnic area and a toddler play garden. At the heart of the play park is an impressive Jedburgh Abbey-inspired centrepiece and pyramid tower.
