Get into Summer – Sports Development Camps

Live Borders Sports Development Camps are a new addition to our programme as part of Get into Summer!

Participants will take part in two sports per day over three days.

Our camps will be fully inclusive offering sport to young people at primary school all ages, abilities and those with physical and sensory disabilities. Adaptive equipment will be available such as Sports Wheelchairs and visual equipment. The sports on offer can be adapted to suit the functional ability of each individual and we have additional coaches on hand to provide greater coaching and support.

Supported by the Scottish Borders Council and Scottish Government funding, the national ‘Get into Summer’ campaign will help children, young people and families reconnect and reengage with their local communities and the environment and provide opportunities to socialise following a challenging period for everyone due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
