Giants in Miniature: the Amalgam Collection

Amalgam are recognised globally as makers of the finest hand-made large-scale models. Our latest exhibition showcases some of the most famous Formula One cars of the last 100 years in breathtaking detail – and explores Jim Clark’s connection with each of their illustrious world champion drivers.

From being inspired by Stirling Moss, to his friendships with Graham Hill and Sir Jackie Stewart; from becoming an idol for Ayrton Senna, to passing down a legacy to latest winner Lando Norris; this is a spectacular journey through a century of motorsport achievement. Teams represented in 1:8 scale include Lotus, Bugatti, McLaren, Mercedes and Tyrrell – alongside race art, archive images, memorabilia, plus a film illustrating the manufacturers techniques. Each celebrating a model of excellence.
