From treasure hunts and creative crafts to LEGO building and interactive trails, there’s something for every young explorer and racing fan. Come along, take part, and enjoy a memorable day discovering the world of Jim Clark.

Around the World – Easter Egg Hunt
Revamped for 2026, our popular kids’ treasure hunt returns with a global twist! Travel around the museum in search of clues about Jim Clark’s triumphs on every continent.
Solve the questions as you explore and learn more about Jim’s incredible achievements around the world. Everyone who takes part receives a chocolate egg*, and those who answer all the questions correctly will be entered into a draw to win a big chocolate bunny.
Price: 50p per child
*Non-chocolate alternatives available.
Crafty Clark Activity Station
Let your imagination run wild this Easter holiday with our free children’s craft activity.
Design your own racing livery to take home and decide what colours, patterns, and style your racing car would have. Will you go bold and bright or sleek and speedy?
Price: Free with a family or child ticket
Booking: No booking required — just turn up and join in!
The BIG Jim Clark LEGO Build

Calling all LEGO fans! Join LEGO master builder Alistair Jelks to help create a scale model of Edington Mains, the farm where Jim Clark grew up.
Activities include:
- Helping build the large-scale farm model
- Building and testing your own micro-model Lotus racing car
- Creating a LEGO version of one of Jim’s famous trophies
When: Fri 10 & Sun 11 April | 10:30 – 16:30
Suitable for ages: 5+
Booking: Pre-book a 1-hour session to help recreate the farm. Booking opens March 9 via www.jcmm.org.uk
Lap of the Museum – Kids Trail
Our regular Lap of the Museum kids trail is also available throughout the holidays.
Young visitors can explore the museum looking for toy cars hidden among the displays. Tick them off on your map as you go, and once you’ve found them all you’ll earn a champion sticker!
The trail is available alongside our interactive displays and racing simulator, making it a fun way for kids to explore the museum.
