Live Borders launches new ‘Camp B’ holiday activity camps for children this Easter

Live Borders has launched an exciting new daytime holiday programme for children this Easter, giving families across the Scottish Borders a fun, active and affordable way to keep young people engaged during the school holidays.

The new programme, called Camp B, will run in Galashiels, Kelso and Peebles, offering a full day of supervised activities including sports, games, creative sessions and team challenges. Designed for primary school-aged children, the camps provide a safe and welcoming environment where young people can stay active, make friends and try new things, while giving parents and carers a practical daytime option during the holidays.

Camp B has been developed in response to feedback from customers and communities who have asked for more structured daytime activities for children during school holiday periods. It also highlights the wide breadth of opportunities available through Live Borders’ sport, leisure and cultural services.

Catriona McAllister, Chief Executive of Live Borders, said:
“We’re really pleased to launch Camp B for the first time this Easter. Families have told us they would welcome more daytime holiday activities for children, and this new programme is a direct response to that feedback. Camp B is all about giving young people the opportunity to stay active, build confidence and have fun in a supportive environment while parents and carers know their children are safe and well looked after during the day. It’s also a great example of the wide range of opportunities Live Borders provides for communities across the Scottish Borders. If the programme proves popular, we hope to grow and develop it further in future holiday periods.”

The Easter camps will be delivered by Live Borders’ experienced team and will make full use of the organisation’s sport and leisure facilities in Galashiels, Kelso and Peebles.

Places are limited and advance booking is recommended.
