A celebration of art through different eyes
A celebration of art through different eyes
This exhibition is a vibrant celebration of creativity, connection and expression, showcasing the inspiring work of participants and carers from the Galashiels Heart for Art Group.
Run by Crossreach, part of the social care services of the Church of Scotland, the group is dedicated to supporting people living with dementia through weekly creative art sessions. These gatherings offer a welcoming space to socialise, build confidence, and enjoy meaningful, hands-on artistic activity.
The artworks on display reflect remarkable imagination, individuality and skill. From expressive paintings to evocative pieces inspired by personal memories, each creation tells its own story. Working with art not only sparks conversation and strengthens connections, but also supports memory, wellbeing and self-expression in powerful and joyful ways.
We warmly invite you to visit the exhibition and experience the talent and creativity on display. We hope you leave feeling inspired, uplifted, and moved by the stories told through every piece of work.
