Donate Towards Museums & Galleries
From the earliest settlers to the Coldstream Guards, from the region’s proud Common Riding traditions to life in a Victorian jail — our museums and galleries bring the Borders’ history to life. Discover our world-famous textiles, a bustling ironmonger’s shop, and the stories of Mary Queen of Scots, Sir Walter Scott, and racing legends Jim Clark and Jimmie Guthrie.
We care for a wealth of heritage — objects, photographs, and stories looked after for you and for future generations. Our dedicated team share these collections through our seasonal museums, online exhibitions and community outreach – including engaging talks, hands-on activities, and events. There’s always something new to see and inspire at our events celebrating art, craft, heritage and tradition.
