Live Borders Welcomes SCHLOSS Roxburghe as Live Events Sponsor
One of the most prestigious luxury hotels in the Scottish Borders, SCHLOSS Roxburghe, has been announced as a key supporter of live cultural performances in the region.
This exciting new partnership between Live Borders and SCHLOSS Roxburghe—nestled in a breathtaking 300-acre estate near Kelso—kicks off with the hotel’s sponsorship of a special performance by renowned Scottish singer-songwriter Eddi Reader and her band at Kelso’s Tait Hall this June.
Live Borders, through its Arts & Creativity team, curates a vibrant year-round programme of live music, theatre, comedy, and dance. Following sell-out performances in Hawick (2024) and Galashiels (2023), Eddi Reader’s highly anticipated Kelso show is set to be another unforgettable night.
Jason Moyes, Head of Arts & Creativity at Live Borders, shared his excitement about the collaboration:
“We are delighted to welcome SCHLOSS Roxburghe on board. Our live events programme is incredibly important to us—we bring high-quality music, theatre, dance, and comedy to the Scottish Borders, giving people something to look forward to and creating memorable, shared experiences.
“With funding for the performing arts at an all-time low, this support from SCHLOSS Roxburghe will allow us to bring even more theatre to our communities, ensure artists are paid fairly, and keep ticket prices accessible. The team at SCHLOSS Roxburghe share our belief that great theatre has the power to move, inspire, and bring people together, and we are incredibly grateful for their generosity.”
Bruno De Schuyter, General Manager at SCHLOSS Roxburghe Hotel & Golf Course, echoed this sentiment:
“At SCHLOSS Roxburghe, we are committed to providing our guests with exceptional experiences. Supporting Live Borders aligns with our passion for celebrating the rich arts and cultural heritage of the Scottish Borders. Through this partnership, we hope to deepen our engagement with the local community and contribute to keeping the region a thriving cultural destination. By supporting Live Borders, we ensure that visitors and locals alike can continue to immerse themselves in the unique spirit of this incredible area.”
