The Exuberance Collection – Marnie Collins

The Exuberance Collection – Marnie Collins

An exciting new collection of expressionist felt art by Marnie Collins, inspired by a love of colour, textiles and a vivid imagination.

The Exuberance Collection showcases a variety of colourful expressionist felt art pieces by a local artist. The collection features bold, maxi-scale, abstract pieces.   A collection of smaller representational “Inspired Landscapes” will be exhibited alongside the main collection.

Marnie Collins is an award-winning textile artist who brings a fresh and playful approach to the creation of original felt art painting.  Working predominantly in large scale and using vibrantly dyed wool as her painter’s palette, the Artists artwork is soulful, rich in colour and texture and has an intriguing signature sculpted surface.

Being experienced working on high profile interior design commissioned projects the Artist has also exhibited her work via Visual Arts Scotland. We are delighted to present her debut solo show at Old Gala House with Live Borders this June/July. The exhibition aims to delight and surprise audiences with a collection of energetic statement pieces.

All works are one of a kind, lovingly created by Marnie’s own hand in her studio in Galashiels, Scottish Borders.

Visitors are encouraged to engage personally with the work and experience a sense of enjoyment in this surreal and dreamlike atmosphere created through texture and colour. Welcoming and accessible to all, don’t miss the opportunity to experience this impactful and engaging collection in person.

Free exhibition – donations welcome.
