Dementia-friendly cultural sessions at Live Borders Museums, in partnership with Alzheimer Scotland
People living with dementia in the Scottish Borders are being invited to enjoy a new programme of dementia-friendly Wednesday sessions, created by Alzheimer Scotland in partnership with museums, historic sites, gardens and cultural services across the area.
The welcoming sessions will offer more opportunities to explore local history and culture at the following Live Borders venues:
- Borders Textile Towerhouse, Hawick – 17th June 2026
- Hawick Museum – 21st October 2026
- Jim Clark Motorsport Museum, Duns – 18th November 2026
Together, the sessions will help people connect, take part and feel included in their communities. Places are limited and booking is essential – this can be done by calling 01573 400324 or emailing borders@alzscot.org.
