Jim Clark Motorsport Museum celebrates landmark of 25,000 visitors

Jim Clark Motorsport Museum celebrates their 25,000th visitor!

The Jim Clark Motorsport Museum has welcomed 25,000 visitors from five continents around the world.

Graham and Siobhan Moore from Lincolnshire and holidaying in the Scottish Borders, were surprised by staff with gifts from the museum to mark the 25,000th visit to the five star attraction.

This is a landmark achievement particularly with the challenges and travel restrictions over the last two years. International visitor numbers have been understandably lower in the last seasons, but the popularity of the museum attracts people from all over the country to learn about the life and drives of Jim Clark.

The interactive museum allows you to explore Jim’s incredible career in motorsport and his life beyond, and all in Duns Berwickshire, the area in which he grew up and farmed.

This weekend you can come and visit our stand at the Sir Jackie Stewart Classic Festival of Motoring at Thirlestane Castle on 18 and 19 June 2022.

Jim Clark’s personal Lotus Elan road car will be there, which he used when he lived in Paris over the winter of 1967.  Normally on display at Jim Clark Motorsport Museum for the 2022 visitor season, for this weekend only it will be at Thirlestane for everyone to enjoy.

Come and visit us at Thirlestane to pick up a 10% discount voucher to use at the Jim Clark Motorsport Museum!

The museum will be open as normal and in place of the Elan which will be at Thirlestane we will have the racing simulator on all weekend FREE of charge!

A great day out for all the family and enthusiasts.
