Leisure Link Partnership back in time for holidays

A partnership providing free use of leisure facilities in areas across Scotland – including the Scottish Borders – is back from Saturday 9 October.

The Leisure Link Partnership allows Live Borders One Club members to access gym, public swimming and fitness classes at leisure centres across Aberdeen, Argyll and Bute, Highland, Moray, Orkney, and The Western Isles – all at no extra cost.

Leisure Link was created so that people working away from home or on holiday can use local facilities from participating areas as part of their existing home-based membership.

Ben Lamb, Director of Operations at Live Borders, said: “We have a commitment to people across the Borders being healthier, happier and stronger, and this can now apply to people visiting the Borders as well as living here.

“We are constantly looking for ways to widen the services offered to One Club members and the Leisure Link Partnership offers flexibility to locals and visitors alike.

“As an organisation we are very committed to collaborating, and the Leisure Link Partnership is an excellent opportunity for us to work in partnership with likeminded organisations as well as maximise benefits for our members.”

Those making use of the scheme are asked to check directly with the site they are planning on visiting and whether advanced booking is necessary.
