New facilities at Kelso High School

Live Borders has taken on the management of community access to Kelso High School and its state-of-the-art facilities.

The new agreement came into place on Wednesday, August 1.

We will now be able to provide our members, sporting organisations and the general public access to the facilities outside of school hours.

The new facilities include full size 2G and 3G outdoor pitches, 100m running track, Outdoor hard surface basketball/netball area, a four court indoor games hall, one court gymnasium, a gym kitted out with a mix of cardio and resistance equipment, a mix of changing facilities, community kitchen and dining area.

In addition to managing the bookings of the facilities, Live Borders will be delivering a programme of fitness classes, as well as what is currently being provided at the Kelso Swimming Pool.

This is great news for all our One Club members (full members) who will have access to the gym (evenings and weekends) included in their package at no additional cost. They will also be able to book places in the fitness classes.

We will run a basic introductory programme for the 2-week period starting on Monday 6  August, and we would like to see as many of you as possible at the school during that time!

A full timetable will be published, starting from Monday 20 August, and gym access will also commence then with the gym available from 18:00-21:00, Monday to Friday, and limited access at weekends (more details to follow).

See you at school!
