Museum in a Box

Bring history and heritage straight to your classroom with our Museum in a Box loan service. Packed with real and replica objects, resources and activities, each box is designed to spark curiosity and support learning across a range of topics – from Romans and Reivers to Vikings, Victorians and beyond.

Created by our museum team to complement the Curriculum for Excellence, these boxes give pupils the chance to handle objects, explore stories and deepen their understanding of the Scottish Borders’ rich past.
