Jedburgh Grammar Campus

Live Borders will proactively manage community access to the new Jedburgh Grammar Campus.

The charity has a track-record in driving sports and culture participation, with the team not only managing the sport and community bookings but working collaboratively to deliver a programme that will aim to tackle health inequalities and develop pathways for sport and physical activity.

Live Borders will also manage a number of other community facilities within the campus, such as classrooms, rural skills area, flexible hall space that can be used for multiple activities such as community events, sport, dance or drama classes and café.

The sports facilities at the new campus will be amongst the best in the Borders, and include a multi-use games area, 2G hockey pitch, 3G sports pitch, 100m synthetic running track, 300m grass track and gym.

To ensure all current and existing users are informed about the developments that are taking place, sports clubs and community groups will be invited to meet and discuss their requirements. Ahead of the opening of the campus, the wider community will also have an opportunity to establish what space is available for booking.

Scottish Borders Council (SBC) will operate the public library and contact centre which will be housed in the Campus, with the innovative facility aiming to cater for all ages of the community in one location.

The Council has created a dedicated section of its website – – where Frequently Asked Questions on various aspects of the facility are now available.

Regular updates for pupils, parents, staff and the wider community will be provided ahead of the opening of the new campus this spring.

Further details around opening times, classes and booking opportunities will be announced in due course.
