Overview
The museum is closed for the winter but we look forward to welcoming you back when we re-open on Sun 01 March for the 2026 season.
About the Museum
Jump into the driving seat and discover one of the greatest racing drivers of all time. This is the story of Scotland’s first Formula One World Champion.
During a career lasting over 11 years, Jim Clark secured double Formula One World Championships, conquered the Indy 500 and won many other races around the world during the 1950s and 60s.
This vibrant visitor attraction is a must for motor racing fans and everyone looking for a great day out!
As well as viewing many of the amazing trophies that Jim Clark won throughout his career, we have a changing programme of exhibitions.

- Lotus 38
- Lotus Cortina
Our interactive museum allows you to explore Jim’s incredible career in motorsport and his life beyond, and all in Duns Berwickshire, the area in which he grew up and farmed.
A great day out for all the family and enthusiasts.

The Jim Clark Racing Simulator
As part of your visit to the Jim Clark Motorsport Museum why not get behind the wheel of our racing simulator and attempt to emulate the racing feats of Jim Clark. Try a 1960s Formula One car at Brands Hatch or Monza, or take a Lotus Cortina onto the circuits at Crystal Palace or Knockhill.
There are two modes of play; Rookie or Champion, offering differing levels of challenge depending upon experience.
Please note that there is an additional fee to use the simulator.
