Supporting your wellbeing through activity, social connection and community support
Wellbeing Support
Wellbeing Support (sometimes known as Social Prescribing) helps people improve their health and wellbeing through movement, social connections and community activities.
We know that health is about more than exercise. Feeling connected to others, having a sense of purpose and accessing the right support can all play an important role in helping people live well.
Live Well offers a range of opportunities that support both physical and mental wellbeing, helping people take positive steps towards a healthier and more active lifestyle.
Activities and support may include:
- Health Walks
- Community activities and groups
- Volunteer-led opportunities
- Support through local social prescribing pathways
- Signposting to local services and organisations
- Opportunities to build confidence, meet new people and stay connected
Some people access Wellbeing Support directly, while others may be introduced through a healthcare professional, Community Link Worker or support organisation.
Whether you are looking to become more active, improve your wellbeing or connect with others in your community, our team can help you find the right support for you.
