Our new Youth Membership gives you unlimited access to our gyms and swimming pool facilities.


  • Unlimited Swim (lane & public swimming only)
  • Unlimited gym (must be supervised by a parent or guardian)


Youth membership includes access to TriFitness for 12-15 years (only) old when accompanied by a responsible adult, and access to Tweedbank Gym facilities for 12-17 year olds. TriFitness is not available to 16-17 year olds, as it carries an additional membership requirement.

Trifitness 12-15 Years

Youth membership includes access to TriFitness gym for 12-15 years old only, when accompanied by a responsible adult.  Access to facilities at Tweedbank Gym and Galashiels Swimming Pool are also included.

Trifitness 16-21 Years

For those aged between 16 and 21 (inclusive), Trifitness offers a Young Adult Membership at £23 per month which includes full access to all gym and class activities plus Swimming Pools across the region. Speak to a member of the team for details by calling 01896 757224.

How to Sign Up

Head down to your local facility to fill out an application form and set up your membership.

If you are not able to sign up at your local facility, you can fill out the application form HERE, however a member of our team at Headquarters will need to call you back to complete the application. Membership cards will need to be collected from your local facility. 

All youth members will need to supply a personal email address so they can book activities.

Terms & Conditions

A parent/guardian can accompany those between the age of 12 and 15 while attending the gym if:

  • Both parent/guardian and child have undergone a full induction by a qualified member of Live Borders’ staff which is specific to the gym in question and a specific programme created by an appropriately qualified Live Borders’ instructor is being followed.
  • Parent/guardian complete and sign the ‘Adolescent Parental Supervision Disclaimer’ form to accept their primary responsibility.
  • Access to free weights is prohibited for young people aged under 16.
  • Access to children under the age of 12 is strictly prohibited.
  • The ratio of parent/guardian to young person(s) should be decided upon considering relevant factors such as size of gym, equipment available, background staffing, age of young person etc, but no more than 1:4 is recommended.
