This library is currently closed.
We aim to provide a high quality library service which meets the needs of local communities and supports lifelong learning and also to deliver high quality advice, information and assistance to members of the public on a range of Council Services.
Bookbug Sessions
Bookbug is a fun filled free event for 0 to 5 year-olds and their parents or carers. The Bookbug programme provides free books, activities and guidance to help improve their reading ability and language development. You can read more about the Bookbug programme.
Book Bug runs fortnightly at Duns Library. Mondays 10.00 to 10.30 for Babies and 11.15-11.45 for toddlers. Sessions are held during term time only. Please contact the Library for more information.
Reading Group
There are two reading groups at Duns Library that meet on the first Wednesday of the month. Please contact the Library for more information.

What Matters Community Hub
The What Matters Community Drop in Hub meets in the Library every second Tuesday from 13:00 – 16:00e. The hub offers users the chance to:
- attend drop-in sessions in their own communities
- meet with a range of professional staff and trained volunteers
- get advice about social care needs, general wellbeing and independence.
