We aim to provide a high quality library service which meets the need of local communities and supports lifelong learning.
Little ones love books: Bookbug is a fun filled free event for 0 to 5-year-olds and their parents or carers. The Bookbug programme provides free books, activities and guidance to help improve their reading ability and language development.
Bookbug sessions take place in Hawick Library every Thursday, mostly during term time.
- Morning session: parents or carers and babies – 10:30 to 11:00
- Afternoon session: parents or carers and toddlers – 14:30 to 15:00
