Fun Kids Activities in our Museums

We have lots of exciting trails and activities in our museums, stay tuned for more details. 

As well as special holiday events and activities there is plenty more fun to keep kids engaged all year round. Most of our sites have activity trails / treasure hunts (Borders Textile Towerhouse, Coldstream Museum, Hawick Museum, Jedburgh Castle Jail, Jim Clark Motorsport Museum, Mary Queen of Scots House, Old Gala House, Sir Walter Scott’s Courtroom).

Some locations like Coldstream and Jed Jail also have dressing-up stations to get immersed in the full historical experience! Hawick and the Jim Clark museum have wide range of both hands-on and interactive features to help educate plus entertain.
